I have had the pleasure of serving as a Director on the Second Mutual Board for this past year.  Each member of our Board brings unique talents and experiences to the table.

My experience comes from the 16 years I spent as the Operations Administrator for Terra Landscape Company. All questions or problems from Property Managers and residents came directly to me.  My job was to facilitate solutions for the issue in question, work with the Terra staff and the client on scheduling, follow up during and after the job was completed. I became the Area Manager for our accounts in Alameda giving me on the ground experience in the field.

I ran the Terra Landscape tree division, titled Tree Sculpture. My responsibilities included scheduling appointments for bids, the work, and follow up with clients, as well as all the invoices and receivables. 

My husband, Bruce and I moved to Rossmoor in 2021. We have embraced our  community, enjoying much of what Rossmoor has to offer. I started attending the Second Mutual Board monthly meetings in 2023 to educate myself about our community. I wanted to know how the Board worked and how our community is governed.

I joined the Landscape Committee that same year and became the Committee Chair in  2024. I am now the Board Liaison for the  Landscape Committee and enjoy working closely with the wonderful volunteers.  I am also the head of the Social Committee. We just had a fantastic picnic at the Dollar  House Field. I am looking forward to next year’s party! 

I would be honored to be able to continue working for our community on the Second Mutual Board. We face numerous challenges due to rising costs and the needs of our aging  infrastructure. Our goal is to find ways to keep the coupon down as much as possible. That goal takes flexibility and a board working together.
